Today I adopted a little roborovskii hamster called Benji. Our petstore has a little adoption center and he was there all on his lonesome and I felt awful about the whole thing. He's six months old and apparently the people who bought him before just couldn't handle having a pet...or some bullshit excuse. I already had a spare cage and everything from when Sootypaws was tiny and well...I donno if I could hack Sooty dying and me not having another pet - not than I'm saying he's gonna die soon or anything, but well he's almost two, and they don't tend to live much longer than that. This is actually a photo of my friend Tanith and I at Imperial Beach (Cali) last summer. At the time the vacation had a lot of ups and downs - i.e I got severe sandburn on my right leg (its still a different colour). It was also the trip where you realise the boys in the bands have serious off days, and the crew people are more awesome that you'd maybe realised before.
