Today I adopted a little roborovskii hamster called Benji. Our petstore has a little adoption center and he was there all on his lonesome and I felt awful about the whole thing. He's six months old and apparently the people who bought him before just couldn't handle having a pet...or some bullshit excuse. This is actually a photo of my friend Tanith and I at Imperial Beach (Cali) last summer. At the time the vacation had a lot of ups and downs - i.e I got severe sandburn on my right leg (its still a different colour).
